I do hope that, if the movie at all deals with Carol's origins, that Mar-Vell shows up in some capacity at least. At this point, I have to wonder if it's more likely for him to show up than the classic Ms. Marvel costume

With Loki's staff pretty much confirmed to be the Mind Stone, and the Aether likely Reality, that just leaves Time and Soul (likely with Adam Warlock). I'd say it's likely the latter, and Adam, might show up in Guardians 2.
