I don't think Tatsuya can let himself be captured, unless they already knew his specs beforehand.
But I don't think Tatsuya can do material burst anyway.
Let's be clear because the anime doesn't explain strategic class magicians or for that matter anything technical one bit. Very sad.Tasuya's based specs aren't that OP.
