Another thing to remember: the setting of Mahouka is post-WW3. It is highly possible that the geopolitics of the world is different from what we currently knows. So, I don't quite understand why people pointed out that the novel has the right-wing flavor to it; this feels a bit like prejudging the Japan in the Mahouka universe with incomplete information.
Um...please don't blame the United States for Japan's actions in the LIght Novel...you're claiming things that the US does is inexcusable yet at the same time excusing things that Japan does due to the geopolitics of the world. This reflects a possible bias you may have of the United States in real life if you aren't willing to give the US the same excuse.
