Lelouch is by far the best character I've ever known so far. He's smart above average and arrogant, yet at the same time he is also very humane. He ran away from a decisive battle when he knew his sister was kidnapped. I mean, he's only a highschooler. It's very realistic that he ran away for his personal desire. And he also gets into slump when C.C. lost her memories and he lost all allies.
