Depends who you ask. Some people are willing to subject themselves to machine translations. If you are just massively translating the page and not cleaning it up at all, then chances are that you shouldn't bother. If you are actually making it human readable to some extent, then yea there should be a good number reading them.
Myself personally can't stomach machine translations so I just wait for the real thing.
It might actually be preferrable just to write summaries of each chapter. Just write up what you gleamed from reading the machine translation.
