You need to use a decoder/player capable of 10 bit h.264 decoding, like CCCP or VLC. The Microsoft one can only do 8 bit but it can be overridden if you want to use Windows Media Player. CCCP also comes with its own player (Media Player Classic Home Cinema, short mpc-hc).
