Btw, chinese are one among the biggest hypocrits in the world. I heard that console games are banned in china(for an unknow reason), on the other hand, chinese spend tons of money on MMO games. How is that possible?
1. I believe that would be low labour cost, low printing cost, massive market which all pressed down the cost. Or probably it's another indicator of how many profit publishers round the world gaining?

2. Multiple theory exist for that. Some include: protect teenagers from time-wasting entertainment(that there're anti-indulgence system installed in every MMO), market protection, and officials can't distinguish between game console and gambling machine like some pachiko....

But NDS was still selling under "iQue" brand under the category "Learning machine" in such a system, although most players would prefer parallel import version...

And as a note, Chinese official just decided a nationwide unban of game console by the establishment of shanghai free trade zone

update:recent news saying major China bookstore are stop selling all products (initially only Date A Live) published by Tianwen Kadokawa (major publisher in China that publish >90% light novels) due to unknown reason.
