Not only must the Adventurer have the cook subclass, s/he must also have the required level to match the recipe, like how one must have the required level of skill to make more than just omelettes =3. Otherwise the outcome would either be charcoal or some unknown substance which, if shown on manga or anime, must be censored to prevent mass trauma
Also, kuroishinigami also didn't mention the most important factor in making tasty food in LogHora. To give a hint, it's similar to the the difference between using skills through the command menu and just dishing them out at will.
