Not only that (it literally happened at the end of the first episode of the first season, which this is clearly a call-back to), but it's especially in-character for her at this point given that she's in love with Issei. She even force-moved to his house to be closer to him after he basically confessed to her at the end of last season.
That doesn't stop her from still being the smart, dignified leader and battle commander, at least in this story.
