Final review for Gokaiger:
The good:
* It's an anniversary show, so there was plenty of fanservice, from multiple former cast appearances to a few old villains, along with the auxiliary mecha.
* Each of the Gokaigers got a backstory and character development, with Marvelous and Joe having the best ones.
* Walz Gil and Barizorg got backstories and actual personalities beyond simply wanting to take over the world.
* Gojyuujin, a robot dinosaur timeship.

The bad:
* The Gokaiger mecha were not exactly the best. The four other components of Gokai-Oh were among the most useless in sentai. They're not even used in the Kanzen Gokai-Oh formation. There's also the fact that certain of the Grand Power mecha were more useful on their own than when combined with Gokai-Oh.
* It would have been nice if Basco got a bit more other than greedy backstabbing asshole (how did Akared not notice this when he recruited him?)
* Damaras was a wasted villain. This guy was reputed to be the "Strongest Man in the Universe," but for most of his appearances he was forbidden to leave the Gigant Horse, and when he finally gets the chance to fight, he's shown up by Basco and gets killed just like any MotW without an epic fight.

Final Score: 9/10. IMHO the flaws in the show are not enough to detract from its entertainment value. It's definitely better than the disappointing Decade.

Next week: It's Morphin' Time! Goodbye spandex, hello pleather!
