Pardon me for butting in on the discussion but I have to agree with the people who didn't like the last episode of S1 (not the OVA but Ep 12).

Yes, it was fan service but after about 5 minutes of singing, I got a bit annoyed. After the next 5 minutes, I was close to just shutting off my Kindle Fire. The CGI crowd got on my nerves to the point of insanity (Yes, I realize how stupid that sounds but -_- it's the details like that I noticed).

It was just a rather boring episode overall. First 5-7 minutes were fine but it got old quick.
