Humanity doesn't make sense. What a concept for an anime...
That aside however, I still think that the anime was good. Heartbreakingly so, though... And I'm not gonna say that it's the best storyline for an anime. Sorry, Dr. Casey.
However unrealistic it may seem, I still know that under certain stressful scenarios and whatnot, rational human beings can go to irrational deep ends. This anime... certainly took a dark twist on psyche.
Still though, School Days was a VN, one that was infamously known for its bad ends, and those overshadowed everything about it that the anime had to include one. Disappointing, though not really surprising that they couldn't emphasize the other aspects of School Days. Hell, the Manga was actually nicely-written compared to the... ahem, troll-fest (I admit it, I'm sorry) that was the anime...
