I haven't received anything like that from them recently and they (DVDPacific) sent me an order a few days ago (on the 4th Nov I received the Shipping Confirmation email).
I suggest you email
accounts@dvdpacific.com and forward the email you received and ask them if they did send it. It sounds genuine mind you (as they did recently have problems with credit cards, see GHDpro's post earlier)
