Hmm... Well, I think it's possible that even though the drawings on display were stolen, there
may be some other copies kept elsewhere.
It did not seem to be such a catastrophic problem, since they only "requested" the drawings to be returned. I'm not sure if I'm right, but it's just a speculation.
