Because ZZ doesn't happen in a vacuum. It
is a sequel to Zeta. The fact that it occurs in the same setting as Zeta and uses some of the same characters as Zeta, but is inconsistent with Zeta in tone and characterization, is a detriment in my eyes.
I'm not sure why you're disagreeing with me here, though, I thought we were on the same side! :P
