I voted for Lawrence based on the fact that he's one of the more enjoyable protagonists. I like the fact that he's a pragmatist, as opposed to an idealist (we've had far too many of those), yet is still able to stick by his convictions and beliefs. He's a perfect compliment to Horo, as he's able to withstand her verbal jousts without imploding in addition to providing her with the support needed to be acclimate in a new environment. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I don't think I'll be able to handle Horo, she's too rare and fragile an item for a neophyte like me. : ) So you better take good care of her, Lawrence.

Edit: Um, I don't know why I wrote two posts for Lawrence...
