Well going off what ickem told me on irc the other day when I was asking about shinbou and whether she would ever return to what she was..

Spoiler for Nisemonogatari I guess..: If Shinbou doesn't drink Araragi's blood he will return to normal and Shinbou will die. He does this because he feels burdened by what happened. If Shinbou drinks enough of Araragi's blood she will return to her previous form and Araragi will become a vampire again. In Nise she drinks enough to be 18 at one stage. As for why his powers are maintained by doing this I have no idea, ickem get your ass in here! Also hurry up and read Kizumonogatari!!
