Another bit of speculation - How many demons have Gash defeated by now? How many have the others survivors of the series taken out? How many did the losers take care of before they came before the ones we know of? If there were only a hundred demons let loose for the tournament, we should be getting awfully close to the final rounds by now. |
I have talked to the people who have read the manga on this. Apparently, there are more than 100 demons. The
manga demonary (Warning, spoilers) only lists 45 in the manga so far. Also, just because they decide to let them go to the end does not mean they will be in the "finals". You will find out about demons later who tie/beat gash and a) dont burn his book (this has already happened once) or b) are killed by other demons
