If I used Enter.., it would only make a larger gap between them.., they would still be in vertical...

no, no, no.., I used the " . " to separate the 1 meter and 54 cm's, thus making it 1.54 (1 meter, 54 cm's :p); just like it would appear in a ID card.
Or at least its how the one's in my country...
