They also changed the director and studios (it is OLM and Sunrise Beyond now).

Glad they changed Wil's voice.
That is one thing I really dislike in the first season.

Eh. I was fine with his teenage voice, but still good they got a new VA for his older self. I hope the author gets better and contiues the series (he is suffering from severe depression or something like it).

It did feel like the series was really just getting started so this is good news.

I wonder why the series has not yet moved to the current ones. It already aired 6 episodes.

It's not that popular. People just forgot about it. Though, I personally really like it. TOP-5 of the season, probably, and this season has a lot of great shows.

My schedule's too full and this season is stacked, so I don't have time.

I planned to post something but I could not even find the topic despite knowing it exists so I gave up. I am also not posting in every series thread I watch.

I'm not sure what to post about it other than "I like it".

There are things I really like about this story (both novel and anime). Will is clearly OP, but it doesn't feel like he is just some random dude with lot of power, but rather like watching actual legendary hero creating mythos in real time and it even extend to his companions.

Also, it is a rare case when Japanese fantasy does look like fantasy and not some JRPG posing as one.

Heh, I know what you mean and I definetely share the sentiment, but it's kinda funny that this season there's actually quite a lot of those :heh:
