Tate no Yuusha/Shield Hero - Requests for new threads
 

Since the Shield Hero forum is limited (only Mods and Admin can create new threads), this thread serves as a way to request a new thread to be created.

Please post here if you wish to request a new Shield Hero thread. Please bear in mind that we will only accept reasonable requests, we wish to maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (so no pointless threads cluttering up the place).

Don't forget that you may still post in existing threads as usual, the only restriction is that you may not create new threads within this particular forum.

How about just adding a [No Spoilers] The Slave Seal (Anime-only; only mention it here) topic?

I think it's obvious to everyone by now there's three sides to anything related to it:

• there's the people that get sick hearing about a device that enslaves someone used in some "righteous" contextualization and the justifications that go with it
• then there's the other side who think it's perfectly fine and don't like the negativity thrown at it

  This is also the side that's constantly throwing (not so subtle hints) that it's useful later on in the story for whatever reason. Assuming that's a big reason why they like it or have no problem with it, this discussion is destined to go nowhere for who knows how long! (assuming the later parts everyone is hinting to are even going to get animated)
• and finally everyone else, who gets caught in the middle

How about just banishing it to said topic? Be it praise, complaints, analysis, side comments or whatever else (outside of straight spoilers), so long as it touches on the slave seal it probably be in everyone's best interest if it was just not in the episode threads. Reason for making it no-spoiler topic is because it's very unfair to everyone watching the anime to have to "get spoiled" to talk about it. We've already heard plenty of "It's totally justified, trust me" in the previous thread (with people who also read it coming in and denying it's justified too).

Spoiler discussion can just go in the source material threads just fine IMO.

It's very unfortunate but even after reaching some compromise on one topic related to it, another just popups up it seems. If this is something that will continue while the show is airing I think it would be more fun to everyone to have it split from normal discussion.

I second this suggestion. It's unlikely people will stop asking questions. Better to just have a place where the discussion can run freely without filling up the episode and general discussions.

Is it possible to make a thread for the Redo of the Spear Hero manga here since its a spin-off of the main series, albeit far ahead of the anime?

Might be better in the light novel forum? The title I saw on Kindle was an LN.

It's botha amgna and a LN and a WN, so three threads? Does as even allow WN threads nowadays ?
