What the hell, I thought this was two cour? I was really excited about the upcoming arc. So disappointed.

Be sure to watch the ED entirely. There's a surprise in it.

Man that really felt like Attack on Titan of the old there. Great to see the focus back on the original scouts: We got some really hilarious and sentimental scenes out of it. The episode did well to build up the next mission too, although I think they missed a trick in not having the new Queen Historia give them a send off.

Typical. This show will pull out all the stops to raise more questions than it answers. :heh:

Also typical. Build up to something great and then put a break so it loses all momentum.

Sigh, not this waiting sh*t again.

It is two cour, it's just two split cour. The second part has already been confirmed to air in Spring 2019. Though, I guess at that point they may as well call it Attack on Titan season 4.

It's a pretty damn big split then. As you say, they may as well call it season 4.

This is what I was saying weeks ago during the Reiss licking arc...The show wants it both ways...That end scene was a perfect example of the theatrical bait -- the cliffhanger nature of this show yet it wasn't organic in the slightest...Almost like here's something, anything, to distract from the lack of high-stakes action this season...

I don't know, I have mixed feelings on this season so far...This episode didn't help, but I'm too invested not to still want to know what's in that basement (Unless some biblical giant's make-you-forget-magic is headbutted into me)...

I always always skip the ED, and the ONE time I didn't, they decided to put something in the middle :heh:

I even thought that my copy was glitchy because of how it played out, turns out it was intentional.

Also, as I said before, the contents of that freakin basement better be worthy of the ~7 year wait we had to endure (as an anime only viewer)

I lol'd when Sasha punched Mikasa under her boob and she took it like no one's business. xD

also, that little preview hacking itself into the ED was very well done and has me so curious about what the heck is happening there.

so roughly around about May/June, we get to see the Maria Wall Arc

Night of the Battle to Retake the Wall

Tomorrow I'm beginning to watch and review part two for the third season, and I took the perfect timing to comment upon this particular episode which I failed to so a year ago.

This is the setup before the coming storm for the Scout Regiment, and after that night there's no turning back for our heroes. It's either plugging up Wall Maria in order for humanity to succeed or perishing like cattle in that cold, neglecting world that offers no trace of mercy to all living beings inhabiting it.

Honestly, the tense exchange in between Erwin and Levi left me no doubts that multiple flags have been risen for the Scout Regiment current commander, however, he'll drag himself from the pits of the abyss by any means possible to bear witness to the truth lying underground at Shinganshina.
A truth that he has been coveting as early as a child when he had his eyes opened by his late fathers' lessons in regards to the theories about the true state of the world beyond the walls.
