That's some big treatment for an OVA.

Almost 100% certain this will be for a season 2 announcement.

It's going to be quite interesting, seeing the changes I complain about instead of reading summaries about them. Will make for quite an interesting analysis

They will matter as much as the changes from WN to LN in season 1 did. I.e like how a loop in WN was deleted and merged in to another in the LN for example. Or how certain scenes Arc 3 WN were removed and rearranged etc. You should let people enjoy or hate the next season on it's own merits as was done before with minimal purist nonsense. Mods especially frown at that, besides people want to analysis the story not subjective complaints. Keep that stuff to the LN & WN threads.

Do you know what will the movie be about? And Besides, why did Tappei delete WN? @Applehell :confused:

Some details were spoken about it during the stage event on Sunday, but since I can't understand Japanese I don't know much other than it will be 50 mins. Tappei didn't delete the WN as far as I know, in fact he just released two new chapters, but this isn't the thread to talk about it.

Oh boy,... I'm so buying that one. lol, it hurts. first word of the trailer and ends with "I'm dying again" really fiting.

The new Re:Zero "OVA"will airs in October 2018.

Also someone took the liberty of translating the Re:Zero stage event from AnimeJapan 2018.
