So a possible new Darker than Black could be in the works? Oh my god! Please let this be real, I really want to see Hei again doing what he does best: kicking contractor butt.

Please anime gods hear my prayers let this be real!

And let it be more in line with season 1 and the Gaiden episodes.

The thing is whether Okamura will stick to his word and not make the show anymore or break his word or someone will step in to succeed him?

I don't know what to think about this. Granted, we were told back when the leak had happened that the second season wasn't going to air ... only to turn out it was a white lie and BONES did have plans for it.

Now this ...
I think he might stick with his word. Then again, I wouldn't have counted on a 3rd DtB in the first place...

Until I see an official announcement I'm not getting my hopes up.
What amazes me is that the rumors (mainly the ones in 2ch) even say that the title of the supposed 3rd season is going to be Darker than Black: Nanbou no Houkou and it seems that this title suggests that it will happen in South America.

Thanks to all this I want to watch again both seasons (but don't have time:()

Anyway, if we do get new season I hope Misaki doesn't appear at all (she got on my nerves in S2 with her Hei obsession) and that we have a proper ending so Hei can have a rest, with Yin by his side:D

Well I think Misaki may get involved one way or another since she's with the New Syndicate. I don't think if this rumored show will tackle the American occupation of Tokyo once more.

Hei is a real driving force to protect both Humans and Contractors, a Guardian Angel while also being the Black Reaper who sows death unto the bad.

lol I'm hoping for more of Darker than Black, Hell if the writer of the Anime series started his own Light Novel and went off from there it would be great as well, if possible.

By the way I totally believe Amber to be alive. I got a few theories That'd I'd like to explain.

Funimation's going to release the show for North America in Blu-Ray in 2015.
