They gave Miyazaki a 2nd Oscar for a reason. And yet I don't know anyone amongst my anime fans who has seen The Boy and the Heron. (Funny, given Your Name was intentionally ignored despite it being the closest anyone ever got to Spirited Away revenue.)

Between the influencers and Hollywood, it will be an even darker time to be an anime fan.
