According to fans attending the Golden Kamuy event today, a season 4 got announced.

There is, even during Season 3 there was for a split cour that never came. But some arcs are skipped, altered or we don't know yet if they adapt them or not. 100-115 chapters of material is available right now depending on from where you count.

Interesting, shifting to Brain's Base with a totally new director (Sugawara Seiki, experienced though not with this franchise). That certainly ups the uncertainty factor.

Always down for more Golden Kamuy.

I've read the manga is about to end, how many episodes would they need to make it a complte adaptation?

I don't think it looks worse than the previous seasons.

They are doing Sekiya's arc now. Thought that was going to be a permanent skip, glad that's not the case. Shame some arcs got cut, got heavily altered, or implied to happen off-screen.

Me, neither. And I just finished re-watching Season Three this morning.

I can't wait to see what creature's brains they'll be eating this season :heh:. Honestly the thing that stands out most for me in this show is what they end up eating in any given season. Although maybe beyond that it is the ugly expressions they are happy to let the characters have at different moments :).

It's not my favourite show, but I'm going to be happy to have it back.

This what I dislike when a new season comes in after a long time, I barely remember the plot.

The opening was awesome.

Surprisingly, I remember it despite usually forgetting things quickly. Golden Kamuy is a show with very memorable characters and moments.

I'm glad Hijikata's group is back, they didn't do much in the third season.
