The whole other side of the Gate thing is intriguing, gives me a bit of a HxH vibe. There's some nice chemistry between the 2 main leads too.

I don't think it's even started to be ranked yet. It starts at chapter 7 or 8 I believe. Could be wrong though...

Chapter 6:

Love interest / rival?! Of course she's an ojou/tsundere type... The interactions between the characters are pretty hilarious still. This series really hits all the right notes that Hungry Joker failed to hit.

Not really interesting for my taste. And seeing how things go, i bet it will be another Freezing-like story, where the author put more focus on ridiculous internal dispute between characters rather than full scale war against otherworldy beings from the gate

Hope this won't be another Jump series that get stopped publicating due to lack of popularity. It's just there are too many of them lately

I'm so conflicted on weekly basis.

I think the pacing is horrible, characters are unattractive, and over usage of (= 3 =) is painfully annoying. And the world is completely unconvincing.

But I like the sci-fi settings, I like some of the chapters with action in them, and I love stories of alien conflicts.

It's such a hate-hate-love situation, and I wish the artist will improve.

Oh sweet, finally the true action scene began to kick in. seriously, it has been very tiring for me to wait until this turns of event happen. If only they did it much sooner and got rid of all those pointless and boring fights on previous chapters, i wouldn't feel any unwillingness before touching this chapter

Yeah it's nice manga and I like that Mikumo isn't your standart shonen protagonist.
