Looks like Russian vehicles deployed to Kharkiv have a new logo on their vehicles.

Reports from the UK are mentioning a lot of usage for the Chinese Desertcross 1000-3. Some reports from Moscow mention formation of units that use the DC with AT-4 Spigots.

Reports that Russian troops are able to capture Robotyne, calling it "liberation".

Blinken announced more military aid incoming as Zelensky cancels foreign trips due to what's happening in Kharkiv.

I think I have said before, but IMO the "exit strategy" putin is attempting atm is "pause and reset", he will pour every military asset (reads as "human lives") at his disposal to increase the size of the invaded territory and then call for a cease fire and for a "north-south korea" solution, while demanding the west to lift all sanctions against his regime, so he (or his succesor if he dies) to resume the conflict later on when they have modernized and profesionalized their orc horde.

The thing is, if little ol' me can see this, people in many goverments must also have and have already planned acordingly.

If I recall correctly, the European military industrial complex should be back up and running again by next year. Finland and Sweden are now part of NATO. Ukraine has still not fallen. So Russia's kind of messed up.

Stating the obvious, but you have to be a ver special kind of moron to reorganize your military while performing the invasion of another country. Next thing we will know he will blow out some satelites with a nuke or something.

Counteroffensive started in Vovchansk.

An hour ago from Andrey Bigul It is with great pain that I inform you that my African friend Iman, who took part in the war with us, tragically died during shelling in the Kharkov region. He was a brave and noble man who dedicated himself to the fight for justice and freedom. His death is a huge loss for all of us. We will always remember his courage and dedication. May his soul find peace."

Zelensky visited Manila to talk to the president.

Not surprisingly, pro-Beijing wumaos are calling him out.

Renegade334 2024-06-03 10:14

And that should concern him? The Chinese aren't exactly popular in the Philippines ATM after all their aggressive actions in the Spratleys, their importation of drug dealers and overseas gambling organizations into the archipelago (many of them under the auspices of that living and breathing piece of horse manure Duterte) and the latest Chinese-related scandals (like that scandalously wealthy, pro-Chinese mayor --who claims not to be Chinese but can't prove her parents were Filipino-- who is currently being grilled by the Senate) to date.

If anything, Zelensky and Marcos, as leaders of sovereign nations encroached upon by larger, imperialistic countries (never mind the fact that Marcos is a spendthrift, and never forget who his thrice-damned father was), share a lot of common ground. Even if the Philippines have extremely little to contribute to Ukraine's situation, since they are heavily reliant on US support, military hardware imports and donations (Spanish-Israeli light tanks, patrol boats from Japan, Turkish attack helicopters, etc).

If there is one individual who'd mind what the wumaos and Little Pinks gripe about, it'd be Duterte.

Yu Ominae 2024-06-03 22:49

IMHO, it does to a slight degree since Beijing does support Moscow even if they won't admit it.

In the wide scheme of things, Zelensky does see SEA support for them against the Russian invasion. AFAIK, Singapore/Philippines have voiced their support for Kyiv. The others have not said anything as they see Russia as a security partner or expressed neutrality, but does other things with Russia behind the scenes.

Don't forget that the other parts of SEA are easily influenced by propaganda from Moscow/Beijing.

Interesting stuff going on in France.

DGSI arrested a Ukrainian man (dual with Russia) of manufacturing explosives after he was found injured with burns in Roissy-en-France. Said man was from the Donbas.

Meanwhile, a Bulgarian, German and Ukrainian were arrested for putting coffins near the Eiffel Tower and putting Ukrainian flags on them that had the message "Dead soldiers of Ukriane".

More interesting news from France:

Mirage 2000 Fighters To Be Sent To Ukraine From France

"French President Emmanuel Macron has disclosed plans to transfer
Mirage 2000-5 fighters to Ukraine. This follows the recent and
unexpected announcement that the Ukrainian Air Force will be
getting a pair of Saab 340 airborne early warning and control aircraft
from Sweden. It also comes amid an ongoing multi-national effort to
supply Ukraine with U.S.-made F-16 Viper fighters.

“Tomorrow we will launch a new cooperation and announce the
transfer of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets to Ukraine made by French
manufacturer Dassault and train their Ukrainian pilots in France,"
Macron said during a televised interview today, according to France 24.
The French president was speaking following commemorations to mark
the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy during World
War II.

"President Macron has... announced the launch of a new cooperation
program with Ukraine, which includes the training of 4,500 Ukrainian
soldiers, the training of pilots, and the transfer of Mirage 2000 fighter
jets," the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., confirmed to The War
Zone and others in a statement. "Peace cannot equate to Ukraine's
capitulation.""
