Apparently there is a bug, a huge one. If you get a game over, your game will crash resulting in deleting your save file...

That hasn't been confirmed fake, but no one's been able to replicate the bug. I wouldn't worry about it.

The game isn't running out of operations -- it's running out of ships. Operations, especially unrealized operations, are something that the IJN has a lot of. See this season's Rei-Go? Yeah.

It is very unlikely the game will run out of ships anyway, unless you implied "varied IJN ships that aren't DD or SS". IJN capital ships "reserve" is pretty much exhausted, save a few like Shinano, but there are still many DD and SS.

Since they even went as far as including USN ships after 3 years, they can prolong the game life for 2-3 years with just the foreign nations already accounted. If we add british and french ships, they will most likely end the game even before they really run out of ships anyway.

Incidentally, the triple turrets on Central Hime point to her not only being the personification of Pearl Harbor, but the USS Arizona too. Hmm.

And when I said running out of ships, I meant the "big ships" of the IJN. We're pretty much down to trophy DDs and subs from this point on barring Shinano.

They could even do more if the devs finally decided to go "screw sticking to just WWII" and introduce, for example, a reincarnation system that lets kanmusu to be reborn in their modern incarnations :heh:

This makes me want a map/stage based on Bikini Atoll, which each node manned by one or more Abyssalised and nuclear-contaminated/mutated kanmusu, and with a moe anthropomorphised Godzilla as the last boss there. Never mind if the place has nothing to do with the Pacific War, except for it being another mass ship grave. Come on, KDKW, you can do it! >=3
