But the Marie from Marie Route and the Marie from Main Story are both different, hinting towards a Parallel/Multi World aspect (it's possible that the Brother of Marie from Marie Route was actually reborn as Leon Sara Rault in the Main Story and died early).

It's cowardice is what it is. Go full-tilt or not at all instead of that alt-world copout garbage. Especially if you're just going to end it like that. Doesn't matter if the reset button gets hit.

I just finished reading volume 13 and I already miss the series. I'll think about reading the Hertrude route, hoping it's not as dark as the Marie route...still the thought I might meet beloved characters from the original series as enemies it's something I might not like.
