Well, the RR crowd was only hostile toward the RR match itself (though mostly towards the end. They were quiet during most of that match because the match itself absolutely sucked). The triple threat between Rollins, Lesnar, and Cena actually really got them going. Can't comment on FL crowd yet (RIP Elimination Chamber and No Way Out), but I'd say apathy is even worse. Because at least chanting this is bullshit! shows that you care. Last year's RR match was also at least exciting.

Maybe I'm reading too much into, but I don't think The Streak was the only thing that ended nearly a year ago. If you know what I mean. :|

It was Fastlame. Sting punked Hunter and now they're going to fight at WM, while Wyatt challenged Taker.

The Sting VS HHH storyline honestly feels like an excuse to get a fantasy match going, while the Taker VS Wyatt thing is both a fantasy match and makes sense as an idea.

But I think we all know who we really wanted to see fight each other at WM, am I right?

I honestly hadn't come across any of these Biden/LL! mash-up pics - I did see an Obama/Nico mash-up pic once that was really well-done (Obama was making a hand-pose similar to the Nico Nico Nii so that was amusing).

So anyway, I looked up "Joe Biden Love Live!" on Google, and... yeah, these are very creepy. I can't help but admire the photoshop skill in blending 2D animated characters with real life people in photographs, and doing it so seamlessly, but yeah, I also have to agree with you on how these pics are creepy and disrespectful to the LL! girls.

My issues with Acquarion EVOL largely related to the love quadrilateral in it. IIRC, Okada's writing impacted that more than Kawamori's did.

Basically, I think that Okada's approach to romance is a bit heavy-handed for a mecha show. It might work in something like True Tears, but it can overwhelm the story a bit if mecha action/conflict is supposed to be a key part of the story.

That being said, I'm not *that* familiar with Kawamori's work in general.

You know, I honestly do miss the fun/flashy sort of mecha shows that you tend to get with shows like Aquarion EVOL and Valvrave. Yeah, they can be dumb sometimes, and their character/romance handling is often far less than perfect, but they're also very amusing and enjoyable rides (most of the time) and make for great "water cooler/shooting the breeze" talk.

So thanks for the heads-up on the upcoming Aquarion sequel. I'll definitely be looking forward to it (though I hope Kawamori calls the shots more than Okada this time, presuming both are still involved).

...so Vince had Mark drop the streak to Brock?

And here I thought that short meeting at UFC a few years back with him asking Lesnar wanna do it? was actually asking for a favor. The way I heard it, The Streak was offered multiple times but nobody wanted to take it.

Lol, it does sound kinda funny. Since his relative is The Rock, and The Rock also got pushed too fast to the crowd's charin. Doesn't anyone learn anything?

The whole thing sounds banal too. You have a guy that's booked to go to WM in a super predictible fashion while the alternative are just unceremoniously thrown. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar who has been champion for the longest time just to make a few more dollars is going out the door (again) so it's pretty obvious he's gonna drop the title. None of this would be bad in of itself, except Lesnar's title run was pretty bad, like in not appearing most of the time and feuding with... mostly Cena. So we build this up and even took the Undertaker's streak as collateral damage to build up this unimpressive mound of nonsense. Meanwhile, when Lesnar takes the title away, we get Cena vs the Corporation v35 because that sure didn't get old 10 years ago with HHH again being teh bad guy and of course they can never be defeated, kinda like one of those 80s cartoons.

It's like they didn't learn from last year which Batista randomly won it (I read that, and was like wtf, this guy is back lol) but at the very least they managed to conjure a great way for Bryan to get through. This, they've already said they're not gonna repeat that, because well, talk about digging yourself into a hole.

It's 2015, so giving the fans what they want is changing. News and rumors travel faster than they've always been, and playing blind does them no favors.

    I really have no idea.

Also, I see Yosuga no Sora's being licensed? Whoa. I was gonna talk to you about the Royal Rumble news, but that's clearly not as important.

The thing about this year's Royal Rumble match is it got to the classic chaos of several or more people in the ring once, like they couldn't work out the choreography for everyone being in at the same time so we're left with a glorified battle royale. And yeah, when it got down to Big Show, Kane, and Reigns, the crowd was chanting this is bullshit! on top of Dwayne's interference. The push was painfully obvious, and Lesnar just needs to plain lose that belt sooner than later or he'll be elevated to a point where a loss becomes a hard sell. What happened to that match where Cena was destroying Lesnar though, lol.

Yeah Sting is apparently gonna face Hunter at the PPV before WM; no newer faces (or heels) were pushed that day. Still, it's a normal match AFAIK, unlike that ladder match between Hunter and Nash a few years back (great booking for a match with two guys past their prime and half a leg between them gaiz). Maybe Levesque should ask his father in law for advice.
