Generally though, as you wrote the dialogue seems, but isn't meaningless... that's not correct. Whether it pays off or not in the end, both the dialogue and ecchi scenes are relevant to the plot, therefore after Bake- we know beforehand that it isn't meaningless, and thus should seem as such. -
